Atul Subhash, an engineer from Bengaluru, saw his estranged wife, Nikita Shinganiya, arrested on Sunday in Gurugram, Haryana, on charges of abetting suicide. She attempted to evade the police by frequently changing her location and using WhatsApp to communicate. Alongside her, her mother Nisha and brother Anurag Shinganiya were also taken into custody in Pyagraz, Uttar Pradesh.
A few days prior, Subhash had been arrested, and shortly after, he tragically took his own life. His family members, including his wife, had allegedly harassed him. Before his death, he recorded a 90-minute video and left behind a 24-letter suicide note that mentioned threats against a mentally unstable individual.

Upon learning that the police were arriving in Jodhpur, Uttar Pradesh, the accused locked their homes and fled.
