Allu Arjun shared a video on his social media where he expressed his sorrow over the tragic death of a fan during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Role. He posted the video on Twitter, reacting to the incident that occurred at Hyderabad’s Sandhya theatre on December 4, where a stampede broke out as fans gathered to watch the film. Unfortunately, a female fan lost her life, and her son was taken to the hospital for treatment. Allu Arjun reacted to the tragic death of a fan. He shared a video lasting 3 minutes and 47 seconds discussing the incident, and in the caption, he expressed, “My heart is broken by the tragic incident that took place at Sandhya Theatre. I want to assure them that they are not alone in this pain, and I will meet the family in person. While respecting the need for mourning, I am willing to navigate this challenging journey. I am committed to providing all possible help to support them.” In the video, he mentions in Telugu that when he arrived at the theatre, there was an unexpectedly large crowd. He learned about the fan’s death only the following morning. He stated, “When we recently attended the premiere of Pushpa, which grossed eighty-three crores, there was an unexpectedly huge crowd. We found out the next morning that a family had suffered a tragedy in the crowd, and two children had unfortunately lost their lives.”

He mentioned that when he received the news, the entire team, including directors Sukumar and Pushpa, was left in shock. “In the last 20 years, I’ve attended almost every film in theaters; nothing like this has ever occurred. We were incredibly disappointed and surprised; none of us felt like celebrating. We create films for people to enjoy in theaters, so to hear that something like this has happened… it’s hard to put into words.” Arjun also shared that he has donated Rs 25 lakh to the family of the woman who passed away, promising to cover their medical expenses and support the children’s future needs. He stated, “Nothing we say or do can make up for this loss. But we are here for you emotionally, whatever you need. I want to donate Rs 25 lakh to show my support, especially for the children. We will also take care of any medical expenses; we understand this is a tough time for the family.” He wrapped up the video by urging fans to be cautious, saying, “We make films so you can enjoy them with your family. When something like this occurs, it affects us too. I urge fans to be careful when visiting cinema halls and to return home safely.”
