Actor Allu Arjun has been taken into custody by Friday in relation to the stampede that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre last week. The tragic incident resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman named Revathi on December 4, and her son is still receiving medical treatment.
Allu Arjun, who is currently starring in Pushpa 2, was arrested in relation to the stampede incident at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre that led to a woman’s death. He was reportedly taken to the Chikkadapally police station for additional questioning.

The stampede happened on December 4 when Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre with his security personnel. An unruly crowd attempted to force their way into the venue, resulting in the chaos. Authorities indicated that the stampede was likely due to inadequate crowd management, which led to a lathicharge. Arjun has also submitted a petition to dismiss the FIR and sought a stay on all further proceedings, including his arrest.
